most profane, grand finale .. etc.

life is full of contradictions, practically and periodically literally bursting with them ... that is, .. most of the time they glide and roll by, past and around, wearing each other down and out .. but past a certain pressure build and gang up, some of them crack into fragments leaving sharp edges for a good long while, fit to break others. This process and principle scales across levels, tiers, realms, layers, phases and stages ad infinitum.
