Six very long years… That’s what it took to make a single documentary about a single chemical. It affects everyone as well, and most people really don’t know anything about it, and further most people don’t care either. That mindset certainly is changing, albeit all too slowly. The chemical is called glyphosate, and it is truly the backbone chemical of our food system. How it got to that point is profound, moving, crazy, stunning, and unbelievable. Even more compelling, somehow one company, which had a notorious track record for death and destruction across the planet, was given the keys to a majority of the system. This is almost unbelievable. But it happened.

A NEW RESISTANCE is a feature-length documentary that we need right now, in my opinion. With COVID-19 and the variants now arising, I hope that people are paying more attention to what is going into their bodies more than they ever have been. Obviously, everyone needs to take precautions when it comes to a virus, but to understand the interplay between the virus, our genes, and the toxic chemicals we are ingesting daily is paramount to upending the virus and comparatively changing the course of its trajectory.

If people can consider for a moment that after you consume over 40 grams of sugar, your immune system is suppressed for up to five hours. And when you realize that half of the sugar we ingest is coming from corn or sugar beets, and Americans consume over 38 pounds of high fructose corn syrup per year, it sets the stage for some serious ramifications that few, if any, are actually talking about.

My film is about the rise, and hopefully the fall of glyphosate, which is found in most GMO plants that we, or the animals products we consume, contain. We need to get ourselves tested for toxic chemicals, as well as the coronavirus, and gain a better understanding of our bodies and our approach toward a specific problem like this, and others in the future.

The movie will debut in March of 2021, and I implore others to not just watch it but to make changes in their lives for themselves and those around them. It is my opinion, that through this, we can all create something new and perhaps even lasting, where our challenges may be more manageable in the future and a sense of community can prevail.

For almost 40 years, glyphosate has been embraced for its ability to make farming easier by wiping out weeds in corn, soybean, sugar cane and cotton fields, and drying out crops ahead of harvesting. In addition to agricultural use, over 100 million pounds are used by homeowners and gardeners to keep lawns, playing fields and golf courses perfectly manicured.

But glyphosate is failing to work – resistant 'Super Weeds' are taking over farmland, requiring farmers to use more glyphosate and even more toxic chemicals. Enlist Duo™, a blend of glyphosate and 2,4-D (a major component of Agent Orange) was recently approved for use by the EPA.¹

In 2015, this deadly chemical once again comes up for renewal. The EPA will be determining if glyphosate use should continue as is, be limited, or halted. In July 2013, despite countless letters and documents submitted in protest, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) raised the maximum allowable residues of glyphosate in food – up to 30 times higher. Now officials are attempting to raise the allowable residue again.

The film will be focusing on the history and impact of glyphosate, the accompanying “inert ingredients” that combine with glyphosate to increase its toxicity, and on the people working and volunteering behind the scenes to expose the issues. The film explores why governments are not monitoring for glyphosate exposure, and why food isn’t routinely tested for contamination. Renowned scientists and institutions, leading authorities on glyphosate and its effects on the environment, will be interviewed. A groundbreaking new independent research study, currently being conducted in preparation for the EPA determination, will be measuring levels of glyphosate and its metabolite (AMPA) in breastfeeding mothers. “A New Resistance” will be following the study and report on its conclusions within the framework of the storyline.

Upon completion, this film will be distributed globally as a free learning tool, available to anyone searching the internet for information. It will be used—without restriction—by organizations, companies, bloggers and individuals to educate their communities, families, friends, co-workers and loved ones.

RoundUp, Glyphosate. Monsanto. Those words are becoming a larger part of the discussion in many homes. For people that aren’t so familiar with those terms, Ed Brown is directing an upcoming documentary titled A New Resistance. This film is designed to educate the public about the truth regarding glyphosate.

After directing, producing and editing the acclaimed film Unacceptable Levels, Ed has become a trusted voice in the health and well being of people around the world. Dedicated to uncovering the truth as it relates to the chemical pollution of our bodies, when this project was presented to him, he felt this story had to be told.

I had the opportunity to ask Ed a few questions about glyphosate and A New Resistance. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did.

1. What inspired you to direct A New Resistance?

That’s always easy to answer, because my life and the direction it has taken is all about protecting my children. Seriously, that is the bottom line for me, because they are my inspiration for doing everything that I do every single day. I always want to not only improve myself, but the changes that I am making in my own lifestyle and in theirs is about setting them up for a great future. To be honest, I really didn’t see myself making another film about toxic chemicals, but this one… This one particular chemical deserves a lot of special attention, and I figured that I would give it a massive spotlight by way of a movie. And everyone will see why this year.
2. What do we need to know about glyphosate?

First thing that people need to know is that it is everywhere, and like it or not, it’s inside of most if not all of us right now. A lot of people get it confused and equate it to RoundUp, which is the best selling herbicide in the world, but glyphosate is the active ingredient inside of many different weed killing products on the market today. It is designed to kill bacteria, and it had been doing it pretty effectively for several decades. But even the industry understands that it isn’t working like it used to, so now they’re designing chemicals that really make things hard on the planet, people, animals, soil and beneficial insects everywhere. So, in a nutshell, it is the active ingredient that kills bacteria in plants, and it is in a great deal of the processed foods that we eat in this country and abroad.
3. What are some of the health effects of glyphosate that we should be concerned about?

This is where it gets touchy, because the industry has done such an amazing job of only testing glyphosate on rats for 90 days and then pushing this short form science out as if it is a case closed study. To truly understand the real health effects of this one chemical is also difficult, as it is not the only chemical at the moment – they work in tandem across the spectrum to kill weeds. At the present moment, we understand that there are a variety of chronic diseases that this chemical is linked to, which are autism, Crohn’s disease, infertility, cancer, ALS, Alzheimer’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Now, we always need to preface this with a full understanding that due to current patent laws on this chemical, the companies creating it are not allowing a third party independent assessment of this chemical to provide our society with a clear understanding about health impacts. Imagine cars being allowed to drive on the highway with only the manufacturers safety assessment for us to rely on to determine safety. That’s the situation that we find ourselves in.
4. Do you have tips on how we can avoid glyphosate in our daily lives?

I joke about living in a bubble or in a Tibetan monastery often with audiences – which does not receive the kind of laughs I hope for by the way – but in all practicality eating organic and not spraying your gardens, schools, lawns or anything with herbicides would be the best way to avoid it. I mean, there are hundreds of schools all across this nation that are backed up against farmers fields and they spray that everywhere, in the belief that it is fine. It’s not like the kids at school are going to speak up about it, so what do we do? How do we avoid direct contact that way? After all, you can spray herbicides up to 90 feet from a school, and that is suggesting that drift doesn’t happen from the application, which is astounding to me that companies can get away with suggesting that. We have to work with farmers to get them to try something new. We have to get people to buy something new. We have to get people to think something new as well. Once we can start making that happen we can all start making a real difference.
5. How can people help stop the use of glyphosate?

We have all of the control, so stop buying into this nonsense that we can’t do anything about it. The companies do not have all of the power in this, so people need to stop believing that. We have a responsibility to each other, especially the next generation. So, consider how exciting and strong we can all feel by understanding that fact. We have all of the control here, and there is ONE agency that has full control over the license at this point, and that is the EPA. If people can get celebrities flooded with comments, and new agencies have people throwing their thoughts around and we can get them to reconsider their positions about whatever, why not get everyone focused to put pressure where it needs to be? It’s the EPA. Lets get them to reconsider where their priorities are, whether it’s our children or the chemical companies, and then we can really start to see what the situation is from their perspective. Then, it will be time for the parents out there, especially the mothers who have glyphosate in their breast milk and in their infant formula that’s going straight into their babies, we’ll let them chime in as well. It’s all up to us. Always. So, lets put that control in our hands and change the world and the way we eat.

The reason it's energy and not power is because in quantum mechanics it's the amplitude that has to be squared to get the power - not the frequency. So this is called Born's Rule. The photoelectric effect that got Einstein the Nobel Prize later made Einstein reject this statistical use in quantum mechanics of the squaring of the nonlocal added up amplitude waves. So those waves are complex waves but in fact the negative frequency and reverse time is canceled out by the squaring process. The truth is that Schroedringer's wave function equation just like Planck's equation has made the error of canceling out this noncommutative reverse time and negative frequency energy! This is a new "causal force" as Basil J. Hiley explains - it's a newly discovered nonlocal force from the future. Take note - technically it's not "energy" since it's before the amplitude squared as the foundation of energy. It is rather a FORCE and not energy. hahaha.

Another way to think of this is that the imaginary number is a "fundamental time" as Penrose calls it or "primitive time" as Connes calls it or "primordial time" as Louis Kauffman calls it. This means the time is eternal motion to the frequency as noncommutativity is not linear time but the future and past overlapping. So this time is the 5th dimension that creates the universe and it is nonlocal - and so at each "zero point" in space there already is this noncommutativity that then creates the Fourier Uncertainty at the Planckian scale.
 
So we need to do power per cycle not energy per second. I think this makes quantum physics go away.

Light is only wave-like when it is propagating and particle-like when it is CRASHING into a detector. Light is not simultaneously wave and particle. Any other theory that is based on simultaneous wave-particle duality is of no use to us on Planet Buddhabrot.

 @Fractal Woman  Try reading the article "Light is Heavy" by Nobel physicist Gerard 't Hooft and Martin van der Mark. Also Martin van der Mark did a follow up lecture on de Broglie's Law of Phase Harmony. The "not simultaneously" is true since quantum physics relies on discrete measurements. Penrose emphasizes that protoconsciousness is what unifies relativity and quantum physics. As Alain Connes states our brains do an inverse Fourier transform on spacetime itself. So in other words the scientist who predicted the accelerating expansion of the Universe - but didn't receive the Nobel Prize - he also emphasizes the true mass of light is due to noncommutativity. He's in India where he's from. So since the mass of light is from momentum that is directly proportional to frequency then there is a secret 1/2 spin to light from the future. This is the point of that "light is heavy" article. All matter is actually made of light yet light does have mass since light has supermomentum or superluminal negative frequency, reverse time negentropy energy. Mainstream science considers virtual photons to be just a mathematical fiction due to renormalization - as that Matt Dowd emphasizes on the PBS Spacetime channel. This is hilarious considering experiments have already demonstrated the absorption of virtual photons to create more photons. So Matt Dowd is well proven in correct but since mainstream physics is stuck on the symmetric relativistic mathematics then it can not accept the truth of noncommutativity. As Basil J. Hiley points out there is no rest frame of a symmetric measurement and at each zero point in time there already is noncommutativity of the future and past overlapping as nonlocality. This is Martin van der Mark's big point also - that Louis de Broglie proved there is no symmetric rest frame, contrary to the claims of relativity. So the key point is that spin is neither a wave nor a particle yet spin is nonlocal as eternal time-frequency energy due to the 1/2 spin being noncommutativity.

The photoelectric effect (that got Einstein the Novel prize) can be much more easily explained using simple logic. The energy (delivered per unit time) required to knock an electron from a metal must be greater than (or equal to) the binding energy of the electron to the metal (aka. the energy per unit time required to bind the electron to the metal). I did the math myself. It works. Any other explanation that is more complicated than this is of no use to the people on Planet Buddhabrot.

 @Fractal Woman  That's strange since Dr. Juliana Mortenson emphasizes the Resonance Equation of Planck - meaning that the photoelectric effect is based on frequency resonance. Quantum frequency resonance is the key to understanding abrupt global warming also - hence the mass DeNile. Mainstream science assumes science is defined by a symmetric squared measurement as mass when in fact the frequency energy is noncommutative. So the resonance of quantum frequency is actually controlled by noncommutative phase - this is proven in quantum biology for example. If you study the quantum biology of smell proving that is truly a nonlocal perception (as are all the other perceptions) - the experiments prove that the same quantum frequency has a different smell when the phase is noncommutative.

If you study Olivier Costa de Beauregard's papers and his book, "Time: A physical magnitude" he explains that precognitive is de facto real. I know this is true from my meditation training. In fact precognitive visions are more lucid and more real than being awake!! As Costa de Beauregard explains all our perceptions and all the other paranormal spiritual powers are derivative of precognition.

 @Fractal Woman  If you watch physicist Fred Alan Wolf's video - his TedX video - "What If All Is An Illusion?: Dr Fred Alan Wolf at TEDxReset 2011" - he makes the same point about light. So for example Fred Alan Wolf in one of his books points out that Schroedinger realized that when light is emitted by an electron the light is a subharmonic or undertone of a higher frequency - only Schroedinger could not figure out from where. The problem here is that when Schroedinger devised his wave equation he got it from de Broglie but Louis de Broglie was critiquing relativity. The basic insight of de Broglie was that as a particle goes towards the speed of light then based on quantum momentum the frequency goes up but based on relativity the time also goes up (since the wavelength gets bigger as time slows down). Based on the principle of Pythagoras that frequency is inverse to time then logically, Louis de Broglie deduced, there HAS to be a negative frequency and reverse time from the future that is secretly guiding the particle. This is Louis de Broglie's Law of Phase Harmony. It is NOT taught in physics schools yet Louis de Broglie stated it was his greatest discovery!! hahaha. Pretty hilarious.
